Here, the ecological narrative of art is not a silent set, but a protagonist full of initiative; People are not isolated audiences, but deeply involved participants. Everything interweaves and responds to each other, jointly deducing a grand and subtle epic about "endless life".
Today, "ecology" has already surpassed the single dimension of environmental protection, and it points to an intertwined, dynamic and tense network relationship. It is related to the macro narrative of the inner universe and the micro world of a piece of land; The imaginary proposition related to the future is also related to the emotional resonance of individual life in the environment. In the name of "Ecological Theater", this exhibition invites every viewer to step into this field composed of relationships and listen to the diverse, polyphonic and even game-playing narratives.
As the sharpest perceptors and questioners in this theater, the young artists in the Department of Experimental Art-the students in the fourth year of undergraduate and the third year of graduate-have developed their unique ecological narrative with space as the canvas and comic books, installations, images and other comprehensive media as the language. They are no longer satisfied with simple reproduction or criticism, but try to be the builders of the "theater" and invite you into a speculative space through the creation of the field.
Here, you may encounter a beautiful and strange "ecosystem" built by waste plastics; Perhaps you will be immersed in a video poem that records how tides and codes breathe together; Maybe in a series of comic books, I will track my future dreams. In the eternal rhythm of "endless life", their works are observations, questions, fables and experiments of ideas again and again.
This exhibition is a concentrated bloom of academic exploration and life experience of these young artists for several years. They use art as a method to try to establish personalized cognitive coordinates in the chaotic relationship network. We sincerely invite you to slow down and immerse yourself in this "ecological theater" carefully constructed by them.
