To further enrich the cultural life of persons with disabilities, discover those with cultural expertise in our province, and promote social attention to the cultural needs of persons with disabilities, the Liaoning Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation and the Liaoning Calligraphers Association have jointly organized the "Sharing Fragrance" First Liaoning Provincial Disabled Persons' Calligraphy and Painting Works Exhibition. Since the release of the call for submissions, it has received an enthusiastic response and active contributions from 14 cities across the province, institutions for persons with disabilities, special education schools, and a large number of disabled art enthusiasts. A total of 236 calligraphy and painting works have been received, covering various categories such as oil painting, traditional Chinese painting, watercolor, and calligraphy. After strict screening and repeated consideration by the expert review panel, 54 works were finally selected for exhibition and 33 works were selected for inclusion. The exhibited works will be on display at the Shenyang Tinglan Art Museum starting from September 24.
