Artist • Zhao Bo
Born in August 1985, Zhao Bo currently resides in Shenyang. He graduated from the Third Studio of the Oil Painting Department at Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 2008, studying under Professor Gong Lilong. During his studies, his classroom sketch works Back Study of Male Body and Fat Woman, as well as oil paintings Female Model in Light Yellow and Unnamed Sadness, were collected by the academy. Since 2010, he has served as a professional art teacher at the High School Affiliated to Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. In September 2017, he was admitted as a full-time postgraduate in the Oil Painting Department of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts under Professor Ji Yunhui. In the same year, his work was selected for the Inter-Youth International Youth Painting Exhibition at the China Academy of Art and won an award. The following year, he was selected for the 4th Excellent Postgraduate Works Exhibition of the Eight Major Art Academies.
