When "objects" serve as daily necessities, they each have their own functions and uses. When everyday items collide with art, artworks are endowed with "meaning". Through experience, we develop habitual perceptions of objects. By means of the inherent language of objects, direct feedback in thinking can be generated, which is a question to be considered before artistic creation.
The works exhibited in the Tinglan Art Museum this time were created by 17 graduate students from the Experimental Art Department of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts (Class of 2023). The works reflect their independent ideas for understanding the world. Taking seats as the basic form, they attempt to present new materials, forms, and languages through installation art, while also exploring and deconstructing the "materiality" of the multiple "meanings" of objects. Using different materials to touch the essence of art is a necessary path for every creator, and it is also the only way to touch the soul and trigger reflective thinking...
